I used H&R 2023 Premium Tax Software for my tax return this year, and overall, it was a positive experience. The software is user-friendly and offers a comprehensive set of tools that make the tax filing process smooth and efficient. The step-by-step guidance is very helpful, especially for someone who isn’t a tax professional.
However, I did encounter some challenges with specific forms, particularly after some recent changes. These forms were a bit tricky to navigate, but with some patience and careful reading, I was able to figure them out.
Overall, I am satisfied with H&R 2023 Premium Tax Software and would recommend it to others looking for a reliable and efficient tax preparation solution.

As a longtime user of TurboTax, I’ve always relied on its convenience and efficiency in handling my taxes. However, this year, I encountered a significant issue that left me frustrated and seeking alternatives.
Despite being a loyal customer for years, I faced an unexpected obstacle when TurboTax refused to allow me to download my software, claiming that my activation code was already in use by another user. This issue not only disrupted my tax preparation process but also wasted valuable time as I attempted to resolve it.
Regrettably, the support provided by TurboTax was subpar, failing to offer any meaningful solution even after spending over an hour on the phone. The lack of resolution and assistance only added to my frustration and left me questioning the reliability of the service.
In my moment of need, H&R Block emerged as a saving grace. With their user-friendly interface, I swiftly transitioned to their platform and completed my taxes hassle-free. The seamless experience from H&R Block left a lasting impression, convincing me to make the switch permanently.
While my history with TurboTax has been generally positive, this recent experience has highlighted the importance of reliable customer support and seamless functionality. Moving forward, I will continue to rely on H&R Block for my tax preparation needs, grateful for their dependable service and support when it mattered most.

I was skeptical at first and used to always go to the H&R Block office and pay $200+ for the same service. The software is really simple to install, update and use. Bought on 31March, completed Federal & State (CA) on Apr 01 and E-filed both. Got my refunds deposited in my bank account on Apr 9th(State) and Apr10th(Federal). I would highly recommend it.

After finishing the process, i was expecting e-filing. Instead, I was asked to update program!!! I was nervous!! I began updating as directed. It froze up. Would not move further. And I thought this is stupid. I found all desk top folders but HRB was no where. That means I had to start from scratch. Buy another HRB prog and re-do taxes!!
I am using HRB for more than a decade!! This is the first time such huge problem in program. After spending lot of time in trouble shooting, I found the program and all was straightened out. I could finish tax and e-filing- But HRB is great program all
these years easy to use and for super seniors like me it is blessing. Please fix the glitch in program. Thank you

Used it but you have to go really slow and watch what is being asked during the program. The method of calculating box 5b is confusing as to what was is required there. I couldn’t get the same figures, or anyway near what the program did. After completing program I submitted what the program came up with. Awaiting to see if all went well.

Worked fine, got download link immediately after purchase on web page receipt and also on emailed receipt. The product key is displayed but have to look for it.

I always use H&R block because that’s what I started with.
It is easy to use, but always shows red or yellow items to double check. Better safe than sorry. I have had issues in the past two years connecting with my accounts, but in general the auto download from your financial institutions works as well as any other software.
